Asta looks to the Future at Lloyd’s

“Blueprint One”, the revolutionary plan to transform the world’s leading specialty insurance market, was unveiled by Lloyd’s today. After six months of meticulous planning, the Blueprint promises in CEO John Neal’s words, ”to turn Lloyd’s into the most advanced insurance marketplace in the world”.

It’s without doubt the biggest challenge the market has faced in decades and here at Asta, we look forward to playing our part in building a market fit for the future. One that is nimbler, faster and innovative – and one that also delivers outstanding products, services and insights to its customers.

In fact, Asta has already played a central role in developing key areas of the Blueprint. Ever since the Future at Lloyd’s initiative was announced in May this year, we have been working tirelessly alongside Lloyd’s, bringing our experience and expertise to the table and helping shape how the market could look in the years ahead.

CEO Julian Tighe commented:

“The Future at Lloyd’s is a fantastic opportunity, not just for the market to transform, but for Asta to adapt and play our part as we have done over the last two decades. There are big and much needed changes ahead and our relationship with Lloyd’s means we can make a very direct  contribution to building the a market fit for the next generation. It’s a hugely exciting time for our business and for the whole market. ”

One of the six key initiatives detailed in the Blueprint is the “Syndicate-in-Box” (SIAB).  Asta’s Head of Business Development Keith Nevett has been at the heart of discussions with Lloyd’s on what the “Syndicate-in-a-Box” would look like, bringing his unrivalled experience to an initiative that will genuinely transform the way entrepreneurs and businesses can access the market.

On his work with Lloyd’s, Keith said:

“It’s testimony to Asta’s expertise and long experience of successfully bringing businesses into Lloyd’s, that we were closely consulted on such a key initiative. It’s been a privilege to work with the team at Lloyd’s and I’m hugely excited about the opportunities the Syndicate-in-a-Box initiative could bring our way”.
