“The Lloyd’s Captive Syndicate is complementary to an existing captive they currently have in the group,” said Keith Nevett, Head of Business development at Asta in a podcast hosted by Richard Cutcher at Captive Intelligence. Keith went to say: “If those captives within the group are well capitalised, you could leverage those funds to provide the funds at Lloyd’s to support the syndicate.”

Keith was joined by Bob Stevenson for a short discussion to demystify the Lloyd’s Captive Syndicate proposition, explain how it works and potential use cases. They also debated the costs and value of the proposition when compared to ‘traditional domiciles’.
